Tarot Passes Turing Test
Last night I did another tarot reading for The Lost Symbologist. The next episode of the story would depend upon which cards come up. During the summer I came up with the idea of doing a Turing test on my tarot pack. If I had the feeling that the cards were giving me an intelligent answer, then they would pass the test. The more readings I did, the more I got the feeling that most of the answers I got did make sense. So it was another pleasant surprise when yesterday evening the three cards I chose did seem to fit into the story quite well.
First came the ten of swords, which seemed to be saying to Robert that the worst was over, and it was time to forgive and forget. The trauma of his fictional character was at an end. He could move on. Next came the six of swords, in which a ferryman takes a mother and child to calmer waters. The Boat of Isis that would take them safely through the wormhole? What was the third card? It surprised me as it was also quite relevant. Find out in the next episode of The Lost Symbologist.
