Heathrow survival campsite and the train to apocalypse now

Getting away for Christmas is more popular than ever. Why stay home with a slice of dry turkey and Nick and Dave on TV, when you can enjoy all the fun of an exotic destination and the excitement of doing something different? This year's most popular destination turned out to be, of all places, London's Heathrow Airport. BAA organized a hardcore survival camp that attracted thousands of Brits to their snowy Winter Wonderland campsite. Pontin's may be almost dead and buried but Heathrow survival was the surprise hit of the season. Sleeping under tinfoil blankets and foraging for food were among the skills that holidaymakers had to learn. Second most popular destination was the Eurostar queue, a flashmob of wannabe train spotters who lined up for hours in the freezing cold to admire the architecture of St Pancras. This is all of course a part of the New World Order plan to get us used to the future when society collapses around our ears in 2012. "Witness the apocalypse. Come to Kings Cross. Fucking nightmare. Like Jeremy Kyle on the trains." was how ishra described it all.
