After the storms, the rain, more rain, the floods, more rain, the fallen trees, more rain, and more wild mushrooms than I have ever seen at this time of year, it really does feel as if I have landed in Amsterdam, rather than cycled here. My friend, where I was staying on route, is a connoisseur of Bangladeshi food, and all the ginger, chili and spices were perfect to keep the monsoon weather at bay. We were brainstorming lots of new ideas for our plans to buy some land and set up an organic farm and seed bank. One thing I know for sure is the land will have to be somewhere sunny.
